Why the Party Plan Industry?
There are many reasons that people get into direct sales, sometimes it’s because we love the product, other times is because we want to make some extra money on the side, whatever the reason we are usually told that all we need to do is have a couple of parties a month and we are set.
Sound’s easy huh!
Well there is a reason that most people that get into Party Plan quit in just three months. Why?
Because it’s not as easy as it looks!
Most people start off excited, and when they receive their kit are full of enthusiasm and can often during this time actually do quite well.
But very soon the excitement wears off and their businesses start to struggle. They have asked all of their friends and family and while a few might have said yes in the beginning, they are now finding it difficult to get sales and bookings.
And what does the company tell them? Just talk to more people.
Disheartening isn’t it.
I mean can you imagine if every business worked this way?
Imagine if taxi drivers starting roaming the streets and asking strangers “Do you need a lift somewhere”, and if the stranger said no they replied “But hypothetically, if you did need a lift, where would it be to?” The stranger would likely punch them in the nose or tell them, not so politely, to get lost.
Now while going door to door, making cold calls, talking to everyone you meet might have worked for your upline, today’s world works very differently.
I don’t know about you, but I’d rather embrace these new technologies than go back to the old ways of doing things.
